◌ v 9.6.38 VueScan
Waited a day and then downloaded the installer again, made a compressed file of it and did the install successfully. Installer is Version 14.0.22. Wifi now connected and the system is working. You can do some pretty amazing stuff with these tools. For example, here is a scan of a 30-year-old slide taken with (I think) GAF slide film, that is badly faded and color-shifted, as well as having dust spots. It looks pretty grotty, but it's a shot I'd like to save because it shows what the view from my front yard looked like in the early '70s, before there were power poles and telephone lines, and a lot of tree growth that's there now. Download the latest scanner driver from your scanner manufacturer’s website and install the driver. Be sure to confirm the driver is compatible with the version of the Operating System on your computer. Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key. Run in Terminal app: None so far.

Also, Hamrick doesn't care to rename his version. Version 9.0.0 is the same file name as version 9.0.27 which is the same file name as 9.0.79. I rename the files when I download them. Same issue with a 2017 iMac, though it used to wake with no problems at all. Added support for Xerox DocuMate 4440 I downloaded the Mojave updater on a mid-2012 MacBook Pro (Retina, 2.7Ghz Core i7, 16 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1563 MB) the first day it was available and thought it was doing well. Chose Light instead of Dark for the desktop and went through setup. When I logged in, the Wifi menu icon was darkened, and clicking on it gave me the messages Art M mentioned. Looking at the system report for Wifi showed my locations, but trying to change to a location other than Automatic was not possible. So then I reinstalled all the the drivers I could find for an Epson for a 64 bit Intel Mac. 5 Under the Apple menu > Recent Items, I note that recent applications, documents and servers are shown. Prior to updating to Mojave, I previously had only the recent applications shown, not the documents or servers. Can anyone tell me how to make this adjustment? Many thanks
